We are seeking a Manager of Technical Accounting with strong technical accounting expertise and the ability to understand a business operationally and translate that understanding into sound accounting conclusions. This role will have significant responsibility for purchase accounting, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and other complex technical accounting matters, including consolidations.
The ideal candidate is an independent problem solver who can research complex accounting issues, partner effectively with business stakeholders, document conclusions in clear technical accounting memos, and then transition those conclusions to the operational accounting team for execution.
The strongest candidate will bring strong financial reporting and technical accounting capabilities, particularly in revenue recognition and purchase accounting. The hiring team is looking for someone who can think critically and independently.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they understand the business model and operations of the companies they have supported and can apply accounting guidance to real-world business situations.
