What you will do:

The Manager, System Operations will be responsible for overseeing a team of Business System Analysts and all operations assigned to the team. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing the development, administration, and management of numerous daily banking systems including design, implementation, support, and streamlining processes. They will develop and empower the team, ensure policies and procedures are followed, assign projects while balancing the team’s workload, and have customer service responsibility for ensuring timely, accurate, and complete delivery of the team’s projects. The Manager, System Operations will collaborate across the organization on cross-functional projects and is the primary liaison among our business partners, system vendors, and CUSO for problem reporting and resolution, project updates, and implementation of new procedures, processes, and applications.

A day in your life might include:

• Managing the capacity and priorities of the System Operations team via Agile/Scrum Methodologies (Kanban specifically)
• Lead daily team standups, and biweekly retrospective and planning meetings.
• Partnering with business stakeholders to facilitate requirements gathering conversations for projects impacting internal systems
• Leading User Access Management Efforts for the Organization
• Serving as the system owner for core banking technologies including but not limited to DNA Core, Loan Director LOS, DocuSign, and Identifi document management.
• Working with our CUSO partners (OTS and S3) to facilitate system upgrades, patch management and bug remediation.
• Solving business problems with creative solutions through deep knowledge and understanding of our core banking software.
• Having regular performance and career conversations with direct reports.
• Partner with the system operations team to ensure effective knowledge management and continuity.
• Assisting with resolution of escalated inquiries.

Additional Responsibilities may include:

• Auditing vendor invoices vs. contractual specifications
• Assisting with the evaluation of new vendor solutions regarding core banking/back-office technologies.
• Serving as the main point of contact for the Technology Solutions team when the Managing Director is out of the office or unavailable.
• Assist the Managing Director of Technology Solutions with strategic presentations and budget forecasting in relation to the system operations team.
• Assist the Managing Director of Technology Solutions with yearly internal and external compliance audits in relation to the system operations team.

What we need from you:

Education Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Experience Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience with managing multiple technology platforms preferably in financial services
• Experience with FiServ DNA and/or Loan Director preferred
• 2-3 years’ Leadership and People Management Experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Software development lifecycle experience especially focusing on user acceptance testing and requirements gathering.
• Experience with Agile project management methods (specifically Kanban) preferred
