Job summary

Southern Illinois Healthcare seeks a Manager of Supply Chain to oversee inventory, distribution, shipping, and receiving across Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Herrin Hospital, Saint Joseph Memorial Hospital, Harrisburg Medical Center, and The Cancer Institute.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), 5 years in hospital central supply/materials management, and 2 years of supervisory experience. You will develop SOPs, manage par levels, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years in Hospital Central Supply/Materials Management.
• 2 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the consolidation and standardization of Supply Chain Management services across the system including development of SOPs, policies, and education.
• Monitors and maintains adequate inventory levels (Par Level Management).
• Manages operations of multiple departments and facilities for supplies and equipment supplied by Central Supply.
• Ensures staff provide high-quality supply management and compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
• Designs and evaluates processes to improve supply distribution for positive patient care outcomes.
• Determines staff mix and develops processes to hire, train, and maintain competency of department staff.
• Collaborates with Supply Chain Service Line Director on patient services and day-to-day operations.
• Oversees EOC and Emergency Preparedness committees across facilities.
