Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Manager, Supplier Development Engineering - Special Process & Mechanical Assembly to lead a global team driving supplier capability and readiness. You will focus on special processes and mechanical assembly, apply Lean and Six Sigma, and push for continuous improvement in quality, cost, and capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality or related technical discipline.
• Eight or more years experience in Supplier Development, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• Three or more years of leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supplier development strategy for assigned regions, commodities, or business segments.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supplier Development Engineers.
• Provide oversight of supplier capability, manufacturing, operational, and capacity risk assessments.
• Drive manufacturing excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and process capability improvements.
• Lead assessment and management of supplier production capacity and readiness.
• Ensure readiness for new product introductions, launches, and supplier transfers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier readiness throughout APQP/PPAP processes.
