Renowned for delivering the most-wanted styles to millions worldwide, Fashion Nova earned the title of the Top 5 Most-Searched Fashion Brand on Google in 2022, alongside Louis Vuitton and Nike.

Founder & CEO Richard Saghian launched the brand in 2006, from a retail location in Los Angeles. After multiple store openings, Saghian launched the e-commerce website for Fashion Nova in 2013, pioneering a disruptive social commerce model of affordable, on-trend, size-inclusive clothing online– powered by an innovative, social media-first marketing strategy.

Today, Fashion Nova has amassed over 40 million social media followers, with annual sales of approximately $2 billion!

The brand’s name has been featured in chart-topping hit songs by Cardi B, Drake, 21 Savage, Saweetie, The Game, Tyga and Offset and its styles have been worn by many celebrities, artists and athletes including Meg The Stallion, Ice Spice, Chris Brown, Floyd Mayweather, Rick Ross, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Strategy & Operations team tackles the biggest issues facing the business, supports executive decision-making, and runs the operating processes that keep Fashion Nova scaling. This role extends that mandate to our Distribution Center.

As Manager, Strategy & Operations – Fulfillment, you will lead the portfolio of strategic initiatives at our DC — from labor and inventory optimization to robotics, systems, and the design of future fulfillment sites. Sitting in the Strategy function, you will have visibility across the entire operation and the mandate to own the priorities that matter most — taking on the executive initiatives facing the DC and driving them to completion alongside cross-functional leadership. You will be the on-the-ground strategic lead for fulfillment, working closely with DC Operations leadership, Systems Architecture, and Finance teams to turn operational complexity into measurable improvements in cost, throughput, quality, and speed.

This is a builder's role. You will start hands-on, driving initiatives end-to-end, and grow into building and leading a team as the function scales. You will bring rigor and structure to ambiguous, high-stakes problems, and you will be measured on the outcomes you deliver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Labor optimization — Improve labor models, staffing plans, and workflow logic across functions, driving gains in productivity, throughput, and unit economics.
  • Capacity & throughput planning — Lead capacity and throughput planning initiatives for the DC, modeling network capacity and order flow and partnering with operations to translate forecasts into actionable plans.
  • Outbound flow & throughput — Drive improvements to outbound flow — pick, pack, sort, and ship — including pick-assignment logic, sortation, and order-flow prioritization, in partnership with operations and engineering.
  • Robotics & automation — Scope and lead robotics and automation initiatives end-to-end — vendor management, diligence, and business case — and quarterback implementation with engineering.
  • Systems optimization — Partner with the Systems Architecture team to optimize our fulfillment technology stack (WMS, OMS, and adjacent systems), defining requirements and improvements that increase capacity, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Vendor management — Drive vendor management and partnership initiatives — performance management, adherence to Vendor Manual, and technical integration of vendors into our systems (e.g., ERP, in-house vendor portal) — to reduce cost and lead times and improve reliability.
  • Quality, returns & inventory-adjacent workflows — Improve and advance the systems and processes governing quality control, returns, and other inventory-adjacent workflows, reducing defects, loss, and cycle time.
  • Inventory management — Drive inventory management initiatives — classification, placement, availability, and turnover — to improve storage efficiency and product availability across the network.
  • Future DC design — Lead the scoping, design, and operational planning of future distribution centers, including capacity modeling, layout, infrastructure, and systems requirements.
  • Operational & systems improvement — Proactively identify areas for operational and systems improvement; scope and define the future state, then drive changes to completion in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional leadership — Translate large, complex operational datasets into clear, actionable recommendations; define KPIs, build performance dashboards with DC and functional leaders, and present findings to executive stakeholders.
  • Team building — Build, mentor, and scale a Strategy & Operations team at the DC as the function grows.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • 8+ years of experience spanning supply chain / fulfillment operations, strategy or operations at a fast-growing eCommerce company; experience at scale (high-volume fulfillment or last-mile networks) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ownership of distribution center or fulfillment initiatives — labor, inventory, automation, or systems — with quantifiable impact on cost, throughput, and quality.
  • Working knowledge of fulfillment systems (WMS, WCS, adjacent systems) and the ability to partner credibly with engineering and systems architecture teams to define and improve them.
  • Experience leading robotics, automation, or process-engineering initiatives from business case through implementation.
  • Strong analytical foundation; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to collect and analyze complex datasets and communicate business insights to executives. Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
  • Track record of vendor management delivering cost and lead-time improvements.
  • Process-improvement discipline — Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous-improvement methodology — a strong plus.
  • Bias for action and strong project management skills; proven ability to drive initiatives from ideation to execution with little oversight in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Ability and willingness to be primarily based at the Distribution Center, partnering closely with on-site leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and lead teams.
  • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience; a degree in engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related quantitative field, and / or an advanced degree, a plus.
  • English; additional language(s) an advantage.
  • Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Onsite.
  • This role requires regular on-site presence at both our Beverly Hills headquarters and our Santa Fe Springs Distribution Center throughout the week, as business needs dictate.
BENEFITS
  • Formalized career paths for continued professional growth.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Comprehensive health insurance across Medical, Dental and Vision.
  • 401k match, with immediate vesting upon eligibility.
  • Weekly catered lunches & fully-stock kitchen pantry!
  • Opportunities to travel for trade shows and vendor meetings.
  • Summer Fridays Early Departure.
  • Team bonding events and programs.
  • Attractive employee discounts!

  • Typing and Computer Use:Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse for email correspondence, data entry, and accessing software. This includes typing for long periods to update records, create reports, and communicate with employees.
  • Communication:Clear verbal communication is necessary, including speaking with employees in person, on the phone, or via video conferencing. Active listening skills are required to understand employee concerns and provide effective support.
  • Light Lifting: Occasionally it may be required to lift or move items such as files, small office equipment, or boxes up to 15 pounds when assisting with department-related tasks or organizing materials.
  • Visual and Auditory Demands:Ability to visually review documents and reports, as well as monitor employee performance and wellbeing through meetings, observations, and discussions. Hearing and understanding verbal communication is essential for effective interaction with employees.
