DLA Piper seeks a Manager, Strategic Finance & Market Analytics to lead financial and market intelligence efforts, guiding growth and investments across client profitability, markets, and practices. You will collaborate with the Revenue Management and BI Analytics teams to translate data into actionable leadership recommendations.
The role requires 5+ years in related fields, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), and will sit in NY/Short Hills/Reston/Austin with a hybrid schedule.
The Manager, Strategic Finance & Market Analytics, working in collaboration with and in support of the firm’s strategic initiatives, will serve as a strategic finance and market intelligence leader, translating client profitability, competitor analysis and financial analysis into actionable recommendations for firm leadership. The role will support growth decisions for senior firm leadership (including but not limited to where the firm should invest and how to improve returns from clients, markets, partners, and teams). The role partners closely with the Sr Analyst, Business Intelligence & Analytics for data preparation and analysis and with the Revenue Management team for Practice Group storytelling and recommendations.
This position can sit in our New York, Short Hills, Reston, or Austin office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Up to 10%, depending on location and business needs. May be expected to travel to the Reston, VA, Short Hills, NJ, and New York City offices for meetings.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master’s Degree.
CFA, FPAC, FMVA.
5 years’ experience in strategic finance, corporate development, management consulting, commercial strategy, or competitive intelligence. Two+ years' experience in managing a team either in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or business analysis, ideally with experience in oversight of revenue, margin, profitability, or capacity/headcount analysis.

Sedentary work: This is primarily sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects. The role involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing, and occasional travel, both domestic and international.
The individual selected for this position may have the opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement combining remote and in‑office work. The specific arrangement will be determined at the time of hiring and may be modified at the firm’s discretion.
