Job summary

KnitWell Group, including the Soma brand, seeks a Corporate FAS Retail Ops professional in Fort Myers, FL to lead store operations. You will coordinate workflow, manage inventory and resources, and ensure brand standards align with company goals.

The role requires 5 years of retail/communications leadership, strong MS Office and Google tools proficiency, and excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills. Regular travel to field markets may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5 years management experience in a retail or corporate communications capacity.
  • Store manager experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google tools.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to appropriately communicate and otherwise handle controversial and sensitive business information.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and InDesign preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages workflow for the brand ensuring work is properly timed and or consolidated to ensure efficiency.
  • This includes the calendarization & review of any materials from other areas of the business that will be disseminated to the field team.
  • Actively participates in building the selling cost strategy for stores.
  • Strategically plans operational processes and practices to ensure store operations programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives.
  • Ensures timely research of operational challenges or issues for Stores, Field Management, and Headquarters.
  • Operationally supports the workflow and resources needed for Field Organization meetings and summits.
  • Writes and supports Policy and Procedure as related to Operational policies.
  • Liaisons with Inventory Control and Loss Prevention regarding physical inventories to schedule, create / update inventory communication, and target shrink program.
  • Liaison between field & Headquarters to ensure store perspective is represented in cross functional meetings attended.
  • Ensures all budgetary guidelines are met for store supply ordering, facility issues remediation, and delivering cost saving initiatives.
  • Maintains strong partnership with Store Support Team to share information, assists with projects and ensures deadlines are met.
  • Ensures clear, concise, timely & accurate operational communications to Stores.
  • Supports technology and operational rollouts in stores with partnership of cross functional teams.
  • Travels as needed to support field market training and roll outs.
  • Values individuality and the diverse talents of their team.
  • Leads the team by communicating expectations, providing guidance, delivering feedback, and empowering the team to be their best.

Objective

This position is responsible for store projects, coordinating resource materials and effective operational support for Frontline and Outlet Stores. Ensures Brand standards are met, and Brand goals are objectives are supported. Areas of focus include store workflow, inventory management, supplies management and approval, physical inventory, store operations and functional efficiency.
