Job summary

KnitWell Group, home to Soma, is seeking a Sales Lead at The Shops at Coconut Point in Estero, FL. You will supervise the sales team, uphold brand standards, and shape a welcoming, customer-focused store culture that goes beyond transactions.

You will partner with store leadership to drive achieving team goals, coach associates, and coordinate operations like scheduling, cash handling, and inventory. This role emphasizes hospitality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations and opening/closing tasks.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and coach teammates.
• Provide product knowledge and oversee customer experiences.

About the role

As a Sales Lead, you partner closely with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and step in to support leadership responsibilities wherever needed. You play a pivotal role in upholding brand standards and helping shape a positive team culture. You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction and support. As a role model for the team, you demonstrate a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

The impact you can have

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to: Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities. Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams. Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach. Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals. Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment. Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies. Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed. Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team. Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
