Coordinates day-to-day leadership, staff development, and efficient delivery of surgical instrumentation across multiple clinical areas. Ensures accurate case carts, timely equipment turnaround, and proper instrument reconciliation. Manages staffing, budgeting, fiscal operations, and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborates with leadership to achieve organizational goals and set strategic priorities for perioperative services. ## Essential Functions• Leads development and implementation of departmental plans, standards, policies, and procedures.• Ensures quality and safety are embedded in clinical operations and participates in organizational initiatives.• Maintains compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and equipment management standards.• Oversees staff development, performance evaluations, and corrective actions.• Administers and monitors departmental budgets, productivity targets, and resource utilization.• Facilitates effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.• Conducts rounds to support staff, identify improvement opportunities, and maintain relationships.• Stays current on industry standards, attends required trainings, and encourages professional growth.• This role includes direct supervisory responsibilities.• Performs other duties as assigned. ## Education RequirementBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field ## Experience Requirement4-5 years of experience in sterile processing, or a relevant area An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.All experience must be paid and in the same related field.Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted. ## Certifications & LicensuresCertified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST) or Certified Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) ## Working ConditionsA.
