Job summary

The Manager of Stakeholder Engagements for the Caribbean Region at Carnival Cruise Line will lead engagement strategies with government, community groups, industry partners, and other stakeholders to support destination initiatives.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Government & Destination Affairs, you will coordinate meetings, briefings, and workshops, ensure timely responses, and maintain audit trails across offices and ships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Policy or Political Science preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
  • Proficiency in Data Visualization Platforms (PowerBI, Tableau or similar).

Job description

The Manager of Stakeholder Engagements for the Caribbean Region will be responsible for working closely with the Senior Vice President, Government & Destination Affairs relations and will support functions across the team, managing engagements with stakeholders in government, community organizations, industry partners, statutory and non-statutory bodies and other parties to establish strong working relationships.

Essential Functions:
  • Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy.

  • Impact: Strengthens external relationships and company reputation, enabling smooth operations and supporting execution of corporate and destination initiatives.

Essential/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Policy or Political Science preferred

Essential Experience Required:
  • 5+ years in a business or management role

Travel: 25-50% with shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
