Position Summary...

Walmart is looking for a Manager, Specialty Compliance & Ethics – HIPAA Privacy to support our HIPAA Privacy Team in Bentonville, AR. As a HIPAA Privacy Team Manager, you will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team of business and compliance partners to develop, implement, and maintain elements of a privacy compliance program for Walmart’s healthcare initiatives.

What you'll do...

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a subject matter expert on HIPAA and related laws, ensuring Walmart’s compliance.
  • Responding to privacy-related questions from various stakeholders.
  • Drafting and updating policies and procedures.
  • Developing and monitoring compliance controls and dashboards.
  • Supporting communication and training efforts related to HIPAA privacy.
  • Identifying and addressing privacy concerns proactively.
  • Analyzing data, creating reports, and communicating findings to leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 2 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in similar roles. Additionally, 2 years’ experience with Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, Project Management Certification, Supervisory experience.
