What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the AI Platforms and Services Engineering team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
- Provide oversight of the application product life cycle to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement policies and programs necessary for the team's success
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate product roadmaps into detailed technical specifications
- Act as a coach and mentor to team members while resolving critical impediments in scrum teams

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or 6 years of progressive software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- 10 years of working experience in information technology
- 5 years of experience in presenting and communicating technical concepts, including 3 years in developing long-term roadmaps
- 3 years of management experience and experience in developing tactical solutions in healthcare
- Familiarity with MLOps principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams in an Agile or Lean development environment
- Strong working knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and experience in AI service platforms
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and outsourced software development projects
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
