Job summary

Maximus Partners, LLC is seeking a senior people leader to guide and develop software engineering teams in a fast-paced, technical environment. You will establish clarity, align priorities, and drive accountability to deliver outcomes.

• Lead, coach, and develop their team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, manage performance, and support the career growth and development of team members.
• Build and maintain engaged, inclusive, and high-performing teams while identifying and developing future leaders and key talent.
• Align teams around business priorities, goals, and desired outcomes, ensuring teams have the clarity, focus, and support needed to deliver successfully.
• Drive accountability for results and partner closely with Technical Leads, Product Managers, and peer leaders to successfully deliver results.
• Champion Client's vision, values, and strategic priorities, helping teams understand how their work contributes to broader organizational success.
• Support hiring, workforce planning, retention, and team health to ensure long-term organizational effectiveness.
• Foster collaboration across teams and remove barriers that impact team performance and delivery.

Qualifications

• Understanding of software development practices, engineering team dynamics, and the challenges of delivering technology solutions at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
