Job summary

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with .NET/.NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.

• Ability to work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Microsoft technologies.
• Build and enhance REST APIs for internal and customer-facing products.

Job Description: Are you a full stack developer who enjoys solving complex problems, modernizing applications, and building tools that make a real impact? CSI is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our NuPoint Flex Team, a highly collaborative group that supports key initiatives across Deposits, Loans, Conversions, and internal operational applications. This team serves as a flexible engineering resource, stepping in where additional technical expertise is needed. You'll work on a wide variety of projects including customer-facing enhancements, internal business applications, APIs, automation initiatives, and modernization efforts that help move our technology platform forward.

What You'll Do

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll contribute across the entire software development lifecycle while partnering with internal stakeholders, product teams, and fellow engineers to design, build, and enhance applications.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using modern Microsoft technologies
• Build and enhance REST APIs that support internal and customer-facing products
• Develop intuitive user interfaces using Angular and modern web technologies
• Create scalable backend solutions using .NET, C#, and SQL Server
• Support modernization initiatives, technical debt reduction, and application upgrades
• Develop automation solutions that improve efficiency for operational and conversion teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Contribute to CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud-based initiatives as the organization continues its technology evolution
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members as appropriate

What You'll Be Working On

• Internal applications that automate repetitive business processes
• Conversion tools that enable teams to perform data-related activities more efficiently
• Deposit and Loan API enhancements
• Customer-requested product improvements that development teams have not yet had capacity to prioritize
• Modernization projects focused on upgrading legacy applications and technology platforms
• Emerging initiatives involving AI-assisted development tools and engineering productivity improvements

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core C# SQL Server or other relational databases
• Angular, React, or similar modern JavaScript framework HTML and CSS
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs
• Experience with source control and modern software development practices
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, Azure DevOps, App Configuration, or Key Vault
• Experience with containerization technologies
• Banking, fintech, or financial services experience
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies
