Position Summary

e.l.f. SKIN is seeking a Social Media Manager who will develop and implement a strategy that elevates our brand presence, engages our audience, and drives brand awareness, consideration, and conversion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of skincare and beauty, should be at the forefront of social trends and innovation, and have the ability to develop channel‑by‑channel goals and effectively measure success. Flexibility, resilience, and a ‘can‑do’ attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategy for each relevant platform
• Define key social media KPIs across all channels to achieve top position across relevant measures
• Stay curious and updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance our presence
• Ideate and create daily skincare‑focused social posts, including strong copywriting for captions
• Manage execution of day‑to‑day posting across all social media accounts
• Collaborate with Brand, Ecommerce, Digital, Sales, Creative, and Innovation teams to maximize brand priorities
• Lead the creation of highly effective social briefs
• Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly social media reports
• Assist with content creation including video editing and photo cropping

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
• 4+ years in Social Media Marketing or equivalent experience
• Must be based in the Los Angeles area
• Skincare and/or beauty industry background preferred
• Deep understanding of social media platforms and current industry and platform trends
• Attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in both minor and significant workstreams
• Excellent written communication skills; copywriting is a crucial part of this role
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced business environment, driven, and collaborative with team members
• Understanding what appeals to people and algorithms, beyond entertainment, culture, and trends
• Self‑starter with a hands‑on approach

Compensation

Base salary: $80,000 – $110,000 per year.

Additional total compensation includes base salary, annual company‑based performance bonus, equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement savings plan, gender‑neutral parental leave, and unlimited paid time off. The total compensation may vary based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
