As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead efforts to transform our Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices, driving consistency, reliability, and speed across our cloud platforms. You'll own the development of IaC standards, best practices and delivery pipelines enabling teams to build and scale infrastructure safely and efficiently. With a platform-first mindset, you’ll champion automation in infrastructure delivery—reducing manual toil and accelerating our path to full infrastructure automation. Your leadership will ensure our infrastructure foundations remain resilient, reusable, and ready for global scale.
The ideal candidate has a passion for Infrastructure as Code and building robust delivery pipelines. You take pride in setting high standards for code quality and maintainability, and you thrive in environments where excellence in engineering practices is the norm. You lead a team of talented software and site reliability engineers, guiding them in developing scalable and efficient IaC delivery pipelines. You are driven to define and enforce coding standards that promote clarity, security, and operational excellence across the organization. You believe in making informed, data-driven decisions and use metrics and insights to continuously improve systems and team performance.
Location: Boston - This role can be mostly remote but we'd like folks nearby for the important stuff

Pay TransparencyThe Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 142,500 in the lowest geographic market and USD 228,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
