Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager of Shop Operations, reporting to the VP of Operations, located in Frederick, MD. The Manager of Shop Operations will oversee daily shop activities, including scheduling, procurement, managing operations, analytical tasks, team management, and machine maintenance. Responsibilities also include supervising machining processes, coordinating with outside vendors, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Operations Management and Analytical Skills
• Experience in Team Management across various employee levels
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of machining processes, maintenance, and repair of equipment
• Knowledge and experience in wiring, soldering, electronics
• Experience with AV and Broadcast component-level connectivity
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and designs
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, or a related field preferred
• Experience in the AV, Broadcast, Security industries is a plus
