We’re looking for a technology leader to manage our Server & Cloud team and help shape the services that hospitals and health staff rely on every day.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Technology Services, you’ll lead a team leader and approximately 18 engineers with a broad range of experience and capability. You’ll be accountable for the delivery and support of server, data centre and cloud infrastructure services across a large, complex health environment.
This is a senior leadership role. You’ll set direction, develop your people, make sound decisions about priorities and risk, and help the team deliver reliable services while planning for what comes next. You’ll need enough technical depth to ask good questions, challenge assumptions and make informed decisions. You don’t need to be the person on the tools.
You’ll also be one of three senior managers who work closely together across Server & Cloud, Networks & Communications, and Digital Workspace. We’re a tight-knit group that shares problems, backs each other and works through uncertainty together. We take our responsibilities seriously, but we value people who are approachable, easy to work with and able to keep a sense of humour when things get difficult.
The environment is demanding, and priorities will not always be clear‑cut. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by bringing steady leadership, a longer‑term view and practical judgement to services that support patient care.
If you’re an experienced technology leader who enjoys building teams, working with good people and solving difficult problems together, we’d like to hear from you.
