The Santa Clara County Office of Education is seeking a full-time Manager - Security, Network & Systems Engineering to oversee the security, network, and systems teams. This role includes creating security systems to ensure data integrity, preparing budgets, and supervising personnel. Candidates should possess a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field and have significant experience in IT security and network engineering.
TheTechnology & Data Services Division is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager - Security, Network & Systems Engineering.
Under the direction of the Director III-Information Systems, plans, organizes and directs the activities and operations of the security, network, and systems engineering team in the Information Systems Center of the Technology Services Division; creates and implements security systems to ensure the integrity of data and communications at the SCCOE; prepares and maintains the systems and network engineering budget and expenditures; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.
This position is full-time, in-person and has a work year of 12 months per year, 261 days, 8 hours per day.
Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master’s degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provide official documentation is submitted.To learn more about this position, click here to view the full job description.
