Job Summary :

The IT Security Manager is responsible for managing and maintaining the overall cybersecurity posture of the company through the delivery of a comprehensive program of interlinked tools, techniques, and processes drawn from industry best practices. The role involves active engagement in incident detection and response, process & compliance audits, technical penetration testing, and requires strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and guidance on cybersecurity matters.
• Perform assessments against common industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST 800, etc.) and maintain current certification status.
• Manage tools for storing and analyzing cybersecurity events and landscapes.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new solutions to enhance security posture.
• Promote cybersecurity practices throughout the company and coordinate employee training.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive coverage and engagement in the program.
• Define and maintain security reporting and dashboards for senior management.
• Manage a team of 2+ IT Security professionals.

Qualifications :

• BA or BS Degree (Computer Science preferred but not required) and 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent education and experience.
• CISSP certification preferred.
