Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Proficient understanding of US GAAP, SEC regulations, financial statement mechanics, and SOX internal controls.
• Strong analytical and research skills with proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to distill complex accounting topics for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience in coordinating external audits and regulatory filings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the timely preparation, review, and filing of external financial reports (Form 10-K and 10-Q) with strict adherence to SEC rules and US GAAP.
• Draft financial statement disclosures, footnotes, and MD&A with thorough supporting documentation.
• Research and document technical accounting positions for complex, non-routine transactions.
• Monitor FASB and SEC developments, assess impact, and implement necessary changes.
• Liaise with external and internal audit teams to streamline quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Oversee data collection pipelines to ensure accuracy and audit readiness.
