About The Role

The Manager, SEC Reporting will play a key role in the financial reporting and regulatory compliance functions of the Company. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in technical accounting, managing the SEC Reporting process, and liaising with external auditors. This position reports to the Vice President, Global Accounting, Tax & Treasury.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of SEC filing processes, including 10K, 10Q, 8K, S-3, S-8, etc.
2. Coordinate review of filings with external auditors, legal counsel, accounting team, and executive management
3. Partner with VP, Global Accounting, Tax & Treasury and Executive Director, Accounting to carry out Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
4. Research accounting literature and apply US GAAP standards to complex issues
5. Lead implementation and ongoing monitoring of new accounting pronouncements, including communication and education of financial management
6. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
7. Pharmaceuticals or Life Science industry experience
8. CPA preferred, with Big 4 and foreign subsidiaries experience
9. Experience with DFIN Active Disclosure and Sage Intacct preferred

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2. 4-6 years of experience in public accounting and/or financial reporting
3. Extensive understanding of US GAAP, including Revenue Recognition, Stock Compensation, Income Taxes, Foreign Currency Translation, and Consolidation
4. Quick learner with accurate execution
5. Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
6. Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
7. Deadline-oriented
