Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Nurse Manager to oversee a hospital unit and ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in Los Angeles, CA. The role leads nursing and ancillary staff, drives patient safety initiatives, coordinates care plans, and optimizes staffing to maintain operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Nursing and RN licensure, with at least five years of clinical nursing experience and demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in nursing is required.
  • RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum five years of technical nursing experience; leadership preferred.
  • Strong clinical, supervisory, and communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, lead teams, and manage operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing and ancillary staff to foster a high-performing team.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct daily rounds, collaborate with physicians and staff, and coordinate care plans.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient flow.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes through audits, data analysis, and incident reports, and address operational issues.
  • Promote open communication, staff development, and adherence to standards of care.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and maintain a safe, operational environment.
