Nashville Public Radio is looking for an RFP Writer to contribute to competitive bids in the Scholastic Education Division. This role involves writing RFPs, organizing bid processes, and ensuring timely submissions while maintaining high writing standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience in technical or grant writing, with a strong attention to detail. The position offers a full suite of benefits, including health, retirement plans, and tuition-free programs.
The RFP Writer will be responsible for providing RFP functions in the Scholastic Education Division. The person will be responsible for essential tasks in creating competitive bids for Scholastic Education products and services. This person shall be cross trained in all functions and be a strong contributor to the entire bid process through the bid lifecycle. The RFP Writer shall be responsible for maintaining the RFP electronic folders to maximize efficiency, creating documents that support the timely submission of bids, generating reports to show bid trends and effectiveness, and completing special projects as assigned to include supporting the RFP Team’s operational duties, as needed. Strong writing and verbal presentation skills, ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines, hyperattention to details and accuracy are high priorities. Experience with Educational Products for K-6 a plus.
