Job description

Accountabilities
  • Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, coach, and develop Revenue Enablement Managers through regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and individual development plans. Build a high-performing team of trusted advisors who understand their business lines and drive measurable revenue outcomes.
  • Enablement Operating Model: Establish clear standards for how enablement professionals collaborate with their assigned teams, participate in leadership meetings and pipeline reviews, prioritize requests, and align their work with business objectives.
  • Consistency and Scalability: Develop shared playbooks, templates, frameworks, and best practices that ensure consistent enablement delivery across business lines while accommodating the specific needs of different teams and sales motions.
  • Prioritization and Resource Management: Help team members balance competing priorities, identify high-impact initiatives, manage escalations, and allocate resources toward activities that have the greatest influence on revenue performance.
  • Cross-Business Coverage: Provide hands-on enablement support across business lines during staffing gaps, employee absences, product launches, and periods of increased demand. Diagnose performance challenges and personally design and deliver training, certifications, role-playing exercises, and coaching sessions.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Develop a deep understanding of business models, target customers, sales processes, performance objectives, and market dynamics. Partner with sales, account management, and client-facing leaders to translate business priorities into focused enablement strategies.
  • Continuous Learning and Everboarding: Own the framework for ongoing employee development after initial onboarding, including learning pathways, certification programs, sales methodology reinforcement, and manager coaching resources.
  • AI-First Enablement: Champion the use of AI tools to scale content creation, personalized practice, coaching, and learning experiences. Establish AI-first working standards, encourage experimentation, and share successful workflows across the enablement team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, Product, the onboarding team, and technology stakeholders to ensure sales teams have access to relevant messaging, tools, resources, and processes.
  • Performance Measurement: Define and monitor enablement KPIs across business lines, including program adoption, certification completion, productivity following role changes, quota attainment, win rates, conversion rates, and customer retention and expansion. Communicate program effectiveness and business impact to revenue leadership.
  • Technology Adoption: Ensure enablement managers and revenue teams effectively use the available technology stack, collaborating with systems and tools teams to drive adoption and maximize the value of enablement platforms.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: At least 6 years of experience in revenue enablement, sales enablement, sales training, or a customer-facing revenue role, including at least 1 year managing people or serving as a team lead or player-coach for enablement professionals.
  • People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop individual contributors. Experience managing enablement professionals embedded across different teams or market segments is an advantage, though first-time people managers with relevant leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strategic and Hands-On Leadership: Ability to move seamlessly between developing an enablement strategy, managing a team, diagnosing performance gaps, and personally facilitating training or coaching sessions.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to quickly understand different business models, sales motions, customer segments, and revenue objectives. Comfortable interpreting pipeline reports and performance dashboards to identify opportunities and recommend targeted interventions.
  • Sales Enablement Expertise: Working knowledge of modern B2B sales methodologies, sales coaching practices, adult learning principles, and continuous development strategies.
  • Communication and Facilitation: Excellent presentation, facilitation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence leaders and engage revenue teams effectively.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Experience defining enablement metrics, evaluating program effectiveness, and demonstrating measurable improvements in sales productivity and revenue outcomes.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, conversation intelligence tools such as Momentum, and sales enablement or learning management platforms such as GTMBuddy and LetterAI is an advantage.
  • AI-First Mindset: Enthusiasm for adopting AI tools and building AI-powered workflows that improve efficiency and scale enablement. Ability to experiment with emerging technologies, identify practical applications, and help teams integrate new tools into their daily work.
  • Adaptability and Ownership: A proactive, growth-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across functions, and take ownership of initiatives from conception through execution.
  • Preferred Industry Experience: Experience supporting multiple business lines, customer segments, or product offerings simultaneously, such as SMB, mid-market, enterprise, new business, and account management.
  • Additional Advantages: Background in B2B travel, hospitality, fintech, spend management, or marketplace businesses. Previous quota-carrying experience or experience leading sales or account management teams is beneficial, as is experience implementing AI tools or AI-first workflows across revenue organizations.
