Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Manager of Revenue Accounting to build and lead a top-tier team that drives financial excellence. This leadership position involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with domestic and international standards, and influencing cross-functional initiatives to support high growth. You will champion processes that enhance financial performance and contribute to overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Master Revenue Systems: Develop expertise in revenue accounting workbooks, policies, ERP (NetSuite), and billing/revenue recognition system (RightRev).
2. Oversee Month-End Close: Manage month-end activities, including revenue recognition journal entries, revenue analytics, and account reconciliations.
3. Ensure Contract Accuracy: Review contracts for revenue recognition accuracy and maintain relevant schedules and records.
4. Audit & Superuser Role: Support US GAAP audits and serve as the superuser for NetSuite and RightRev systems.
5. Drive Policy & Process Improvements: Implement new revenue recognition policies, improve processes, and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulations.
6. Lead ASC 606 Initiatives: Collaborate on optimizing ASC 606 accounting practices with cross-functional teams.
7. Collaborate on Forecasting: Partner with FP&A to analyze revenue forecasts and streamline recognition processes.
8. Mentor & Manage the Team: Lead and develop a team of 1-3 members, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with public and private sector exposure.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, especially related to SaaS revenue recognition.
• Proficiency with accounting platforms (Zuora, SFDC, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong people management skills and a passion for developing team members.
• Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning about financial practices, standards, and SaaS trends.
