Manager, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing, Paramount+

Location: New York, NY, US, 10036

Type: Full-Time, Hybrid

Overview:

The Paramount+ International team is looking for a Manager, Retention & Lifecycle Marketing to help accelerate the growth of the Paramount+ streaming service across the globe! As the Manager of Lifecycle Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, handling, and measuring programs to increase the lifetime value of our users and reduce churn. This is a dynamic role that will work with teams around the world. We're looking for someone passionate about media, with strong analytical skills, and is interested in working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must also showcase exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership qualities, and meticulous attention to detail. Responsibilities:

  1. Ideate, prioritize, launch, and measure new retention programs that further optimize specific areas of the user lifecycle (at-risk engagement, cancellation mitigation, & involuntary churn)
  2. Partner with operations teams to deliver all necessary campaign details in a timely manner, as well as QAing campaigns to ensure seamless deployment
  3. Produce, share, and use critical metric reporting on a regular and consistent basis to ensure continuous improvement in process and results, including identifying performance drivers and insights
  4. Work with the Creative team to develop a deep understanding of what resonates with our customers and optimize content/messaging accordingly
  5. Partner with the Research team to understand and track churn triggers by market across all segments
  6. Collaborate with the Data Science and BI teams to develop, test, and evaluate churn propensity models
  7. Responsible for partnering with the billing & subscription operations team to decrease involuntary churn rates through optimizations to billing and communication strategies
  8. Compile standard processes and competitive intelligence within retention marketing to share with regional teams


Basic Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of experience in Customer Retention, Relationship Management, Marketing, and/or e-commerce
  2. Experience with loyalty programs and CRM
  3. Experience in crafting segmentation models and audience profiles
  4. Experience with data, reporting & generating insights
  5. Experience working with multi-platform products on mobile, web and OTT
  6. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills
  7. Capability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment


Additional Qualifications:

  1. Experience working in a digital streaming domain
  2. Experience with or curiosity around machine learning, algorithms, and recommendation systems
  3. Experience with database management and integrations
  4. Experience with multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Amazon, Roku, Apple) and domains (TV, Movies, Sports, News, Kids)
  5. BS/BA in a related field preferred
  6. Master’s degree in a related field (is a plus)


Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 90,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
