What we do

Drive strategic growth of The Trade Desk’s retail data partnerships by accelerating execution, adoption, and operational rigor across a dedicated portfolio of retailers. This role sits at the center of retailer success ensuring day‑to‑day partnership excellence, enabling offsite and onsite media activation, and creating leverage for senior leadership to focus on strategic acceleration, executive relationships, and enterprise priorities. This position plays a critical role in scaling our retail ecosystem by strengthening operating cadence, improving adoption signals, translating insights into action, and supporting go‑to‑market efforts across internal commercial teams and external retailer stakeholders.

  • Run a consistent partner operating rhythm, including weekly and monthly checkpoints, structured agendas, follow‑ups, and clear documentation to drive momentum across initiatives for a portfolio of grocery and e‑commerce retailers
  • Take primary day‑to‑day ownership of assigned retail partnerships, serving as the lead while escalating strategic or executive moments to Directors as appropriate
  • Develop and shape QBR/MBR narratives, performance storylines, and progress tracking to support Director‑led executive conversations
  • Serve as the strategic bridge between AI‑driven insights and client action by contextualizing segment‑level findings, responding to client questions, shaping executive‑level interpretation, and ensuring recommended actions are executed
  • Partner with Retail Operational Excellence (ROE) team to manage operational workflows, ensuring consistency and self‑sufficiency across our commerce marketplace
  • Monitor usage and adoption signals, proactively flagging gaps or risks and routing issues with recommended actions
  • Own end‑to‑end negotiations and contracting for assigned partners – shaping commercial frameworks, managing deal execution, and aligning terms to long‑term partnership and revenue goals
  • Support internal go‑to‑market and sales enablement efforts by preparing partner updates, contributing to internal announcements, and helping maintain partner‑specific knowledge assets
  • Coordinate retailer‑to‑TTD seller connections to support scaled commercialization
  • Identify and develop case study proof points by partnering across stakeholders
  • Translate retailer feedback into clear inputs for Product, supporting priority initiatives through disciplined operating plans and cross‑functional alignment

  • Proven operator with a strong bias toward action, structure, and follow‑through – able to run complex initiatives with minimal oversight
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising, data partnerships, and retail media ecosystems, with an audience‑first mindset
  • Experience supporting offsite and/o onsitemedia activation and retail data adoption across advertiser and agency use cases
  • Comfortable developing performance narratives using both outcome‑based metrics (e.g., adoption signals, activation progress) and standard media KPIs
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, shifting priorities, and cross‑functional dependencies
  • Strong communicator with excellent documentation, synthesis, and stakeholder management skills
  • Adept at building internal trust and external credibility through consistency, preparation, and clear point of view
Additional qualification requirements
  • 4‑6+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, programmatic media, or related roles
  • Expertise navigating legal frameworks and negotiations in support of complex partnership agreements
  • Experience working with Salesforce, including opportunity and relationship tracking
