• Experience with research support and different types of research software applications, like Matlab or R.
• Management experience and some programming exposure.
• Affinity with non-STEM fields like digital humanities, social work or social sciences.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the RCC Research Application Group, guiding programming consultation and troubleshooting across researchers.
• Engage with researchers to understand requirements and provide data science solutions.
• Lead RCC applications strategy in collaboration with the RCC Director and systems team.
• Mentor staff and interns and provide tutorials on data science developments.
• Stay current with machine learning and AI trends to identify opportunities.
