SSM Health’s WI-St Francis Home in Wisconsin seeks a Nurse Manager to oversee nursing units, staffing, and resource allocation. You will lead a team, ensure regulatory compliance, manage the budget and drive quality improvement initiatives.

Regular
Manages activiities, workflow and nursing resources of assigned nursing unit(s).
Ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Assigns, directs, educates and monitors nursing and support staff during assigned shift. Serves as a resource to staff.
Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating staff.
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of resident care services for the assigned unit(s). Contributes to and implements policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
Managers resident flow within assigned unit. Responds to all resident concerns and manages through established channels.
Contributes to and may lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programming for process improvement for assigned unit(s).
Opens and leads incident command for internal and external emergency preparedness until relieved by assigned administrative representative.
Monitors and adheres to budget. Approves or monitors expenditures, purchases and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
Frequent Driving.
