Job Summary

This is a new management/leadership position overseeing clinical and business operations for The Woodlands Outpatient Center, Breast Center, and Spring Convenient Care Center. Responsibilities include supervising daily operations, hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring policy adherence.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Radiologic Technology, and/or Radiation Therapy.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
  • Licenses and certifications depend on modality/specialty:

Radiology Technologist

  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the ARRT, required.

Computed Tomography (CT)

  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered CT Technologist by ARRT, required.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT, required.

Nuclear Medicine

  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • One of the following required: ARRT-N or NMTCB certification.

Mammography

  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered by ARRT (Radiology and Mammography), required.

Ultrasound

  • One of the following required: ARRT-VS, RVT, RVS, RCS, RCCS, or RDCS.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

  • At least two (2) years of experience in an acute hospital setting.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Supervises, manages, and schedules daily activities.
  • Performs quality control, gathers data, and implements improvements.
  • Assists with policy development and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participates in departmental planning, budgeting, training, and evaluation.
  • Ensures safe patient, staff, and visitor care, adhering to policies and standards.
  • Supports staff development and continuous education.
  • Creates compassionate, personalized patient experiences, modeling Memorial Hermann’s standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
