Job summary

THOM Thomas Hospitals in South Charleston, West Virginia, seeks a Radiology Services Director to oversee imaging, interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring performance aligns with service and educational missions.

Requirements include state licensure where services are provided (OH/WV/PA), ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT registration, Basic Life Support within 30 days, and at least five years in radiology with two in supervision. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• OH: Current license through the Ohio Board of Radiology
• WV: Current license through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board
• PA: No state license is required
• Registration in imaging modality through ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
• Five years of clinical radiologic experience with two years in supervision

Manages the assigned Radiology Services to assure the optimum performance of medical imaging, interventional and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the service and educational missions of the institution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1.Mustpossesscurrent licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:

OH : Current license through the Ohio Board of Radiology

WV : Current license through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board

PA: No state license isrequired

2.Registered in imaging modality through ONE of the following boards:

• American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB)
• American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)

1. Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
   EXPERIENCE:
2. Five (5) years of clinical experience in the radiologic sciences with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
