  • Recommends and implements equipment, product, and system improvements.
  • Recruits, supervises, schedules, and evaluates technical and support staff.
  • Ensures compliance with departmental policies and credentialing standards.
  • Delivers high-quality imaging services and patient care; leads QA and corrective actions.
  • Maintains compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and licensing standards.
  • Supports clinical education programs and student integration.
  • Maintains professional and managerial competence through continuing education.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with physicians and hospital departments.
  • Addresses customer service concerns and participates in performance initiatives.

Job description

Manages the assigned Radiology Services to assure the optimum performance of medical imaging, interventional and therapeutic procedures in accordance with the service and educational missions of the institution.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1.Mustpossesscurrent licensure as required by state board where services will be provided:

OH : Current license through the Ohio Board of Radiology

WV : Current license through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board

PA: No state license isrequired

2.Registered in imaging modality through ONE of the following boards:

  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board(NMTCB)
  • American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  1. Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
    EXPERIENCE:
  2. Five (5) years of clinical experience in the radiologic sciences with two (2) years of supervisory experience.

  7. Supports clinical education programs and integration of students into the clinical environment.
  8. Maintains professional, technical, and managerial competence through continuing education and professional involvement.
  9. Builds collaborative relationships with physicians, medical physics, hospital departments, and system partners.
  10. Addresses customer service concerns and participates in committees and performance improvement initiatives.
