Join to apply for the Manager, Quality Enablement role at The Walt Disney Studios

In this role, you will leverage your leadership skills and specialized expertise in quality management, workflow tooling, and agile solutions to empower and enable a globally distributed team of over 60 members. You will shape and drive the strategic direction of the team's practices, continuously enhancing efficiency and velocity while maintaining our high-quality standards. As both a strategic leader and hands-on manager, you'll oversee a team focused on skill development and workforce automation. Your responsibilities include exploring and testing innovative automation opportunities, balancing automation with human expertise, and driving user adoption.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategic initiatives and tools to empower global teams, improving efficiency, velocity, and quality.
  2. Lead direct reports through sprint planning, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback.
  3. Manage daily operations of automated solutions across workflows, including resource forecasting, reporting, templating, and AI tools.
  4. Oversee skill development through training content, LMS, certifications, and knowledge sharing.
  5. Manage release processes, guide adoption, and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
  6. Enhance the quality assurance toolkit, including virtualization tech and testing devices.
  7. Collaborate with leadership to refine operations, deliver performance analytics, and align strategic goals.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. 5+ years in Total Quality Management or related fields, preferably in consultancy with diverse stakeholders.
  2. Proficiency in workflow management, process standardization, Agile, PMO, ISO, and Six Sigma.
  3. Strong analytical skills with experience in OKRs and KPIs.
  4. Knowledge of workflow and insight management systems, especially Atlassian and Microsoft.
  5. Experience with SQL and JQL for data analysis.
  6. Proactive in process improvement and stakeholder communication.
  7. 3+ years leading or participating in agile teams.
  8. Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
  9. Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures.
  10. Curious and committed to continuous learning.
  11. Flexible availability for critical support.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Lean Six Sigma/ISO 9000 Certification or Quality Management Certification.
  2. Scrum Alliance or Project Management certification.
  3. Master’s degree in industrial engineering or applied science preferred but not required.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or equivalent experience.

The salary range in New York is $130,800 to $175,400 annually, with additional bonuses and benefits. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, and skills.
