Job description

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and delivery of quality psychiatric services across in‑person and virtual care settings.
  • Assess current practice and develop training plans to enhance clinical staff competencies and skills.
  • Collaborate with site managers, clinical and administrative leadership to manage scope of work performed by medical assistants, RNs, and other support staff.
  • Partner with Leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient experience, outcomes, care coordination, and service access.
  • Develop program policies, procedures, workflows, and training materials tailored to departmental needs.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate development of training plans across the division.
  • Work with managers on staffing, coverage, and schedule optimization to promote access and balanced coverage.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Care teams to implement improvement efforts and performance/trust protocols.
  • Train staff on quality protocols, policies, and program documentation requirements.
  • Support patient access initiatives and population health management efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, including accurate documentation, data entry, and reporting for grants, state, and program outcomes.
  • Assists with grant‑funded projects, audit preparation, chart reviews, and reporting.
  • Coordinate care coordination activities, including specialty care referrals and social services, aligning with organizational policies.
  • Build relationships with care and administrative teams to support integrated service delivery.
  • Develop and oversee departmental work plans and annual budgets with Site Managers.
  • Manage purchase of supplies and equipment within budget specifications and storage limitations.
  • Participate in community groups related to patient education, safety, emergency preparedness, and disease prevention.
  • Ensure staff proficiency in the EHR, leveraging software capabilities for management and financial reports.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient information.
  • Uphold the Center's Mission, Vision, Values, and Goals in all activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, health care administration, public health, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
  • Five years of prior experience in project and/or clinical management position required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience in behavioral health or related setting required.
  • Experience with process design, change management, and staff training preferred.
  • Prior experience with an EHR and MS Office suite preferred.
