NorthLakes Community Clinic is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Clinic Manager, Director and Operations team in implementing sustainable workflows and leading staff.
The role blends clinical work with people leadership, including staffing, training, performance management, scheduling and budget oversight, with a focus on consistent patient care and smooth daily operations.

The Assistant Manager will be a resource to the Clinic Manager, Director and Operations team for implementation and sustainability of workflows as part of the clinic leadership team. Will also be responsible for clinical work and performance management of direct reports as well as staffing, engagement and retention of staff. Direct reports include front-end and clinical support staff. Will develop a communication tool to ensure all workflows, directions and processes are documented, shared with staff and adhered to.
Essential Functions of the Job: Ensures that patients are receiving the best possible customer service experience. Works with other departments to ensure appropriate and adequate staffing and resources for staff to fulfill the functions of their job. Functions in a clinical working role as appropriate. Stays current on changing policies and procedures and effectively communicates these changes to staff. Audits processes and holds staff accountable to established policies and procedures. Oversees staff and performs tasks related to supervision; including functions such as hiring, training, orientation, staff scheduling, performance management, and daily operations. Prepares and manages the department’s budget. Orders supplies and maintains adequate inventory of supplies. Partners with the clinic leadership team to support initiatives and projects within the clinic. Attends management meetings and related trainings.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred. Two+ years of supervisory experience or two years clinical work experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Skills Experience with: Google and Microsoft Office applications Electronic Medical Record applications
