As a Manager, Project Support - Strategic Operations, you will support a team focused on helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Support, you will work on projects such as developing analytics data products and designing performance dashboards.

How you will make an impact

Your role is vital. Here are some of your key responsibilities:

What your day-to-day will involve:

• Develop Python-based ETL pipelines for reports and tools
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting
• Create Excel-based financial and operational tools using VBA (macros, custom functions, PivotTable automation, Power Query)
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, managing secure authentication and credentials
• Manage workflows with Apache Airflow or similar, including automated failure alerts
• Profile and optimize pipeline performance using tools like cProfile and SQL execution plans
• Document ETL processes, data models, and maintain a centralized data catalog

Collaboration:

• Partner with Data Science, Analytics, BI, and Commercial Services teams to develop scalable data products
• Mentor junior analysts and developers; lead knowledge-sharing workshops
• Advise on analytics best practices and data-product adoption
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and evaluate data impact

Ownership of projects:

• Design dashboards and self-service tools for revenue and trends
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for analytics data products
• Design data models supporting reporting needs
• Ensure security and data governance compliance

What makes you a great fit

Minimum qualifications:

• 5+ years in analytics or data engineering roles
• 3+ years writing complex SQL and stored procedures (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL)
• 2+ years coding automation with macros, VBA, PivotTables
• Proficient in Python (ETL, pandas, NumPy) and advanced Excel
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of coding standards (PEP 8, docstrings) and code reviews
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Preferred skills:

• Experience profiling Python performance
• Knowledge of FastAPI/Flask, Vue.js/React, Docker, Kubernetes
• Workflow orchestration with Airflow or similar
• Data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Strong partner-management skills
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Basic Linux shell scripting
• Background in advanced analytics or data modeling methodologies
