This is your chance to be part of a Revenue Management Consolidated Center (RMCC) that offers world-class revenue management talent and tools to owned, managed, and franchised Hilton hotels worldwide. As a Manager, Project Support - Strategic Operations, you will support a team dedicated to helping hotels grow market share and outperform competitors. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Support, you will work on projects such as developing analytics data products and designing performance dashboards.

How You Will Make an Impact

Your role is vital, and your responsibilities include:

Daily Responsibilities:

• Develop Python-based ETL pipelines for reports and tools
• Author complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and reporting
• Build Excel-based financial and operational tools using VBA (macros, custom functions, PivotTable automation, Power Query)
• Integrate with RESTful APIs, managing secure authentication and credentials
• Orchestrate workflows using Apache Airflow or similar tools, with automated failure alerts
• Profile pipeline performance and optimize Python and SQL code
• Document ETL processes, data models, and maintain a data catalog

Collaboration:

• Partner with Data Science, Analytics, BI, and Commercial Services teams to develop scalable data products
• Mentor junior analysts and developers, leading knowledge-sharing sessions
• Advise business and technical partners on analytics best practices and data product adoption
• Work with stakeholders to define KPIs and assess data product impact

Projects:

• Design dashboards and self-service reporting tools to highlight revenue and trends
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for analytics data products
• Design data models supporting reporting needs
• Ensure security and data governance compliance, including credential management

Why You’ll Be a Great Fit

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years in analytics or data engineering roles
• 3+ years creating complex SQL queries and stored procedures (Redshift, SQL Server, MySQL)
• 2+ years coding with macros, automation, PivotTables
• Proficient in Python (ETL frameworks, pandas, NumPy) and advanced Excel
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of coding standards (PEP 8, docstrings) and code reviews
• Willing to travel up to 10%

Preferred Skills:

• Experience profiling and optimizing Python performance
• Knowledge of FastAPI/Flask, Vue.js/React, Docker, Kubernetes
• Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow or similar
• Data modeling principles (star/snowflake schemas)
• Strong partner management and translating business needs into technical solutions
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Alteryx
• Basic Linux shell scripting, knowledge of advanced analytics or data modeling methodologies
