Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee is seeking a Manager Progressive Care to lead the nursing team in the step-down unit, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

You will collaborate with the Department Director, manage staff, monitor clinical outcomes, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, staffing, and budget planning to elevate patient care and nursing outcomes across the unit.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 30 days of employment
• Registered Nurse licensure and current RN status in applicable state
• Associate Degree or RN Diploma required

Responsibilities

• Administer, analyze and appraise patient care within the Department.
• Advise Department Director on patient care status, budget projections, and quality improvement processes

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary:

To administer, analyze and appraise the care given to patients within the Department. To advise the Department Director regarding the status of patient care, budgetary projections, quality improvement processes. To anticipate and estimate future needs of the Department to improve quality of patient care. Collaborate and coordinate the efforts of the staff of the Department to accomplish the mission of Capital Hospital.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
