Job summary

Safety-Kleen in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Production Inventory Manager to oversee supply and inventory levels across distribution centers. You will respond to inquiries on order status, availability, and required dates while ensuring schedules are met.

Responsibilities include creating item labels, providing current inventory data for purchasing, monitoring usage, conducting physical inventories, and coordinating with Asset managers to optimize stocking and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration.
• 5-7 years experience preferred.
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted.
• Strong customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Creates item identification labels for maintenance inventory items. Determines which items are consumable, critical or CAPX.
• Provides accurate and current inventory data for purchasing decisions.
• Works with internal employees to maintain the items and link to suppliers.
• Works with personnel to ensure that critical stock items and maintenance supplies are maintained with the appropriate item labels.
• Monitors inventory usage and makes recommendations of items to remove or add.
• Ensures periodic physical inventories are conducted.
• Reviews received goods and supplies. Ensures items are priced appropriately.
• Works with Asset managers to assist with kitting.
• Reviews reports of inventory balance and/or shortages.
• Corresponds with vendors concerning pricing for accuracy.
• Determines where to stock key critical inventory where needed based on usage and feedback from Asset managers.
