Our Durham Brazing facility specializes in dip and vacuum brazing combined with highly sophisticated chassis testing. What You Will Do

• Lead a team of manufacturing, process and design engineers, technicians, and support the production maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality, ensuring alignment with AS9100 requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including planning, quality, and operations, to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing challenges.
• Guide innovation efforts for manufacturing capabilities by contributing to and executing elements of our innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Play a critical role in sustaining our Nadcap accreditation efforts, ensuring special processes meet the rigorous requirements for certification.
• Support the production maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Mentor and develop team members to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement.

What You Will Learn

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with AS9100 standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience with Nadcap accreditation or special process compliance.

Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
