Collins Aerospace Brazing, a part of the RTX Corporation, is a brazing, machining, assembly and engineering company based out of Durham, New Hampshire. Our Durham Brazing facility specializes in dip and vacuum brazing combined with highly sophisticated chassis testing. What You Will Do
- Lead a team of manufacturing, process and design engineers, technicians, and support the production maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective product designs and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to meet production goals, quality standards, and cost objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve product quality, ensuring alignment with AS9100 requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including planning, quality, and operations, to support new product introductions and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Guide innovation efforts for manufacturing capabilities by contributing to and executing elements of our innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Play a critical role in sustaining our Nadcap accreditation efforts, ensuring special processes meet the rigorous requirements for certification.
- Support the production maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Mentor and develop team members to build technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports to communicate progress and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams, including engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and compliance with AS9100 standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Experience with Nadcap accreditation or special process compliance.
- Aluminum brazing.

- Epicor ERP system.
Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD.
