T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI. We're focused on building advanced American manufacturing and we're passionate about engineering a better future filled with abundant energy.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end production operations for the G2 solar cell fab, driving throughput, yield, and OEE across all lines.
  • Lead and develop a multi-shift production team including shift supervisors, line leads, and operators.
  • Establish and maintain production schedules, staffing plans, and capacity models aligned with facility output targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve yield, and eliminate waste across the production floor.
  • Partner closely with Process, Equipment, Quality, and EHS teams to maintain a safe, compliant, and high-performing operation.
  • Monitor and report key production KPIs to senior leadership, identifying trends and driving corrective actions with urgency.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for production excursions and yield losses.
  • Support ramp activities including line qualification, operator training, and capacity scaling.
  • Build a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence from the floor up.
Who You Are
  • A proven production leader who has run a cell fab line at scale — you know the rhythm of high-volume manufacturing and how to sustain it.
  • Data-driven and operationally sharp, with a track record of hitting output and quality targets under pressure.
  • A strong people leader who builds teams that perform consistently, not just when things are easy.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across engineering, quality, and facilities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Direct, accountable, and solution-oriented — you don't wait for problems to find you.
Qualifications

  • Proven track record leading multi-shift teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong command of production KPIs, OEE, SPC, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting new facility ramp or capacity expansion is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
