Job summary

Harry Winston is seeking a Manager of Product Management to drive brand product and pricing strategy, oversee jewelry assortment, and shepherd products through development from concept to launch. The role includes coordinating with Marketing, Merchandising, Design and Production to plan launches, price optimally, and deliver data-driven insights that inform roadmaps and business opportunities.

The candidate will lead pricing reviews, produce performance reports, and maintain product literature

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years Jewelry Industry/Product Management Experience.
  • Overall knowledge/experience in the workings of retail business practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive and takes the initiative to drive business and think outside of the box.
  • Ability to also work independently and remain flexible with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the product development process from brief ideation to in-market performance, including product definition, forecasting, pricing.
  • Plan and execute the Product Launch Calendar with Marketing, Merchandise Planning, Design and Production teams, scheduling launches for the full year with detailed execution timelines, price points, production forecast.
  • Price new products, based on margin targets, production cost, product lineup, competitive landscape.
  • Produce and analyze weekly and monthly reports to identify opportunities in new developments and action plans.
  • Translate client and data insights into road maps that can generate a positive impact on the business.
  • Complete ad hoc business analysis when needed with accompanying proposals.
  • Facilitate competitor analysis and analyze current market, gaps, needs, and competitor price positioning.
  • Direct and implement the annual competitor price review study with the objective of ensuring our pricing is inline and competitive.
  • Prepare and present summaries of findings to upper management along with recommendations and opportunities.
  • Manage, create, and update sales tools, update product reference book, and distribute Product News for each new launch; update the website with new products/changes.
  • Lead the naming and trademarking of all new products.

Job description

The Manager of Product Management will contribute to brand product and pricing strategy, monitor sales and support merchandising in product decisions, and proof marketing materials. The Manager will oversee the jewelry new and existing assortment across all categories and will follow the product through the entire development process from the initial concept to launch.

  • Manage, create, and update sales tools. This includes updating the product reference book. Prepare and distribute the Product News for each new launch, this ensures all retail staff is knowledgeable about new products. Update the website with all new product and/or product changes
  • Lead the naming and trademarking of all new products
Job Qualifications
  • 5+ Years Jewelry Industry/Product Management Experience
  • Overall knowledge/experience in the workings of retail business practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) with adaptability to new software
  • Strong analytical skills

  • Graduate Gemologist or Graduate Diamonds accreditation from GIA a plus
