Located at our Racine, WI manufacturing facility, the Manager, Production Service Process Engineer will oversee process development, scale-up, and product qualification, working closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve resiliency, achieve cost savings, and promote sustainability. This role requires a proactive leader passionate about formulation and process development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage the Production Services team, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and collaboration while supporting professional development.
2. Allocate resources across multiple brands for process development, scale-up, trials, and qualification of new products.
3. Lead process development to ensure timely and seamless scale-up and readiness for product launches.
4. Collaborate with formulation, packaging, quality, and operations teams to scale formulations and prepare for production.
5. Manage lab and pilot plant studies for scalability and robustness of formulas.
6. Oversee qualification plans, line trials, and equipment studies for successful commercialization.
7. Assess contract manufacturers and suppliers for capabilities, costs, and quality systems.
8. Assist with troubleshooting quality and production issues at manufacturing sites.
9. Develop risk assessments for commercialization to optimize resources and timelines.
10. Create and manage quality specifications, process instructions, and data accuracy in SAP.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in Process Engineering, focusing on new product commercialization.
• 2+ years in people management.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of formulation, manufacturing processes, and scale-up.
• Knowledge of OTC/personal care or household cleaning product manufacturing.
• Experience with process development, scale-up, and manufacturing best practices.
• Technical expertise, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork.
• Organized, curious, and experienced in liquids scale-up in fast-paced CPG environments.

Job Requirements

• Full-time, Monday-Friday, with office in Racine, WI, and remote work one day/week.
• Travel up to 40%.
• Domestic relocation available.
