Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate and implement MHE, robotics, and other warehouse automation tools.
2. Ensure distribution center operations are scalable to accommodate business growth.
3. Minimize waste, optimize product flow, and reduce labor costs through data-driven strategies.
4. Implement lean warehousing principles to minimize waste in packaging and handling.
5. Serve as the SME for network design, facility design, and continuous improvement.
6. Assist in procuring supply chain solutions, including hardware, software, and supporting technology.
7. Support the implementation of material handling systems to improve capacity and productivity.
8. Analyze and improve warehouse layouts, optimize storage, picking, and packing areas for maximum space utilization and efficiency.
9. Conduct motion and time studies to develop engineered labor standards, analyze worker productivity, and identify process bottlenecks.
10. Develop and implement SOPs and establish best practices for consistent and efficient operations.
11. Reduce labor costs and improve productivity through workforce planning and efficiency strategies.
12. Enhance ergonomics and workplace safety by designing workstations and workflows to minimize injuries.
13. Optimize forklift and equipment utilization, improve routes, and reduce material movement travel time.
14. Lead and act as the on-site trainer for Lean principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in distribution center planning and material flow planning.
• Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
• Lean Certification.
• Proficiency with statistical and analytical tools to optimize performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
