Job summary

NAI Signs is seeking a high-energy Print Production Manager in Schertz, TX to lead and streamline our production team. This hands-on leadership role requires deep knowledge of signage and large-format printing, with a focus on building scalable processes and maintaining high quality across print, finishing, and installation prep.

Job Description:We are searching for ahigh-energy manager who is motivated and excited by building processes from theground up. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring deep knowledge ofprint production processes within the signage and/or large-format printingindustry. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced inmanaging people, projects, and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseedaily operations of the printer/cutter operators and workflow into / outof pre-fabrication machines.
  • Ensureall jobs are produced to specification, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Maintainand enforce quality control standards throughout the production process.
  • Collaboratewith pre-press, project management, and sales departments to ensureaccurate file setup and job specs.
  • Developand optimize workflows, scheduling, and production timelines.
  • Createreporting infrastructure to assist operational, financial, and executivestakeholders with all inventory management questions/concerns.
  • Providehands-on support with print, finishing, and installation preparation asneeded.
  • Manageinventory levels of media, inks, and substrates; coordinate with vendorsand purchasing.
  • Train,mentor, and evaluate team members; support professional development andfoster a positive work environment.
  • Troubleshootequipment issues and liaise with service technicians when necessary.
  • Ensurecompliance with safety and maintenance protocols.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimumof 5 years of experience in the signage, large-format printing, or relatedprint-production industry
  • Provenleadership and team management experience
  • Excellentworking knowledge of RIP software (Adobe Creative Suite and print / cutproduction file setup)
  • Deepexperience in color-management / correction methodologies from softwarethrough production
  • Familiaritywith large-format printing (Durst, EFI, Epson), routing (Zund, Multicam),and laminating machines
  • Provenexperience in building processes from scratch and optimizing existingworkflows
  • Committedto lean manufacturing principles
