Job summary

NAI Signs is seeking a high-energy Print Production Manager in Schertz, TX to lead and streamline our production team. This hands-on leadership role requires deep knowledge of signage and large-format printing, with a focus on building scalable processes and maintaining high quality across print, finishing, and installation prep.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in signage or large-format printing.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent knowledge of RIP software and file setup.
• Deep color management from software to production.
• Familiarity with Durst, EFI, Epson printers, routing, and laminating machines.
• Experience building and optimizing workflows.
• Commitment to lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• High energy, proactive, detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily printer/cutter operations and workflow.
• Ensure jobs meet specs, budget, and schedule.
• Maintain quality control throughout production.
• Collaborate with pre-press, PM, and sales on file setup.
• Develop and optimize workflows and timelines.
• Create reporting for inventory and operations.
• Provide hands-on support with print, finishing, installation prep.
• Manage inventory of media, inks, substrates; coordinate with vendors.
• Train and mentor team; foster positive work environment.
• Troubleshoot equipment with service techs.
• Ensure safety and maintenance protocols.
