Job summary

Haemonetics is seeking a Manager, PMO for Software Programs in the United States to lead a team of software-focused project managers and drive end-to-end governance from definition to commercialization.

You will establish cross-functional governance, manage risks, and ensure delivery of compliant, high-quality software products while aligning with business strategy and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in functional management.
• Experience managing and mentoring project managers.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, hybrid, or waterfall).
• Experience with regulatory and quality frameworks relevant to software-based products (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO).
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and mentor a team of software-focused project managers.
• Establish and maintain project governance frameworks that ensure clear objectives, cross-functional accountability, and alignment with business strategy.
• Oversee planning and execution of software development programs from definition through commercialization.
• Identify and manage project risks, critical path, dependencies, and resource constraints across multiple programs.
• Ensure consistent application of project management processes, methodologies, and tools, including schedule management and reporting.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, product, regulatory, and other partners to ensure delivery of compliant, high-quality software products.
• Ensure teams comply with relevant Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, including documentation requirements for software development.
• Support continuous improvement by collecting, maintaining, and sharing lessons learned across software programs.
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve escalations, mitigate conflict, and maintain effective communication across all project teams.
• Provides a proactive interface between project stakeholders and senior management team to ensure alignment and to provide clear updates on progress and key milestones.
• Lead and manage critical software programs, as needed.

Pay Transparency:

The pay range for this role is:

$124,300.00-$211,700.00/Annual

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.

Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
