Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Glen Rose, Texas seeks an Engineering leader to sponsor plant health across systems and optimize performance for maximum station efficiency. You will engage Plant Support Engineers and direct the team to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities include staffing, budgets, performance reviews, and coordinating large projects. Strong knowledge of nuclear plant systems, codes, standards, and scheduling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) / related Science degree or equivalent work experience.
• Detailed knowledge of power plant systems, specifically pumps, motors, and their auxiliary systems, including engineering principles associated with plant design and operation.
• Extensive knowledge of Codes, standards, plant specific procedures and regulatory requirements governing the design and operation of nuclear power plants.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling and cost analysis.
• Professional Engineering registration desired.
• Strong overall business acumen.

• Assist fleet counterparts in executing corrective actions and technical challenges
