Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or related Science degree/equivalent experience.
• Detailed knowledge of power plant systems, particularly pumps, motors and auxiliaries.
• Extensive knowledge of codes, standards, plant procedures and nuclear regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling and cost analysis.
• Professional Engineering registration desired.
• Strong overall business acumen.

• Prioritize and approve group activities and work products.
• Allocate personnel and budget to complete engineering activities and meet department/site goals.
• Lead the station in troubleshooting, problem solving, and decision making.
• Assist fleet counterparts in executing corrective actions and technical challenges.

Education, Experience & Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) / related Science degree or equivalent work experience
• Detailed knowledge of power plant systems, specifically pumps, motors, and their auxiliary systems, including engineering principles associated with plant design and operation
• Extensive knowledge of Codes, standards, plant specific procedures and regulatory requirements governing the design and operation of nuclear power plants
• Knowledge of planning, scheduling and cost analysis
• Professional Engineering registration desired
• Strong overall business acumen
