Job summary

Williams in Houston seeks a Manager of System Planning to lead hydraulic modeling for gas and liquids pipelines. You will oversee capacity analyses, optimization efforts, and outage studies, guiding policies and modeling standards across the team.

You will partner with Pipeline Control, Operations, and Projects to support expansions, outages, and long-term business objectives while mentoring engineers and driving process improvements. Hybrid work arrangemebts are supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and eight years in pipeline hydraulic modeling.
• PE license preferred; Mechanical/Chemical background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic modeling tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Performs hydraulic modeling on pipeline systems using steady-state and transient simulations.
• Collaborates with internal partners to scope facilities for expansion projects.
• Identifies hydraulic impacts and plans outages on the system.
• Develops new modeling tools and mentors team members.
• Supports safe, reliable and efficient pipeline operations and planning.
